Spacive 2025 Present In Surabaya: New Movement That Unites Design, Architecture, And Creative Community
The 2025 Spacive was officially launched as a movement that drives the ecosystem of architecture, design, and lifestyle in East Java towards a more inclusive, collaborative, and progressive direction. Not just an event or exhibition, Spacive is here as a creative movement that brings together academics, practitioners, industry players, to the general public in an honest, inspiring, and mutual interaction space.
According to Ruth Nathania, Founder of Spacive, this movement was born from anxiety over the separation of the academic, practitioner and industrial worlds in the design and building sectors.
Space was born out of unrest, we see a world of academics, practitioners, and industries that have been running alone. We want to present a movement that connects all parties and forms a community-based collaborative ecosystem, where knowledge, creativity, and innovation can meet indefinitely," said Ruth Nathania.
He added that the Spacive mission is to strengthen the design literacy of the people of Surabaya and East Java, so that art and creativity can be part of their daily lifestyle.

This year, Spacive held its first event with the theme FRAGMENT, which focuses on connecting the industry with academics and redefining the relationship between architecture and life. Spacive emphasizes that every space and design is not only related to tangible elements, but also the invisible meanings that are part of the big story of life.
This event is supported by various brands of decorative materials and home-life, including BCA as a banking partner who facilitates transactions and presents various benefits for vendors and visitors.
