Meta Provides Digital Training To Local MSMEs Via WhatsApp Business
WhatsApp affirms its commitment to support the digitization of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, through skills training in utilizing the WhatsApp Business application in Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Jakarta.
Attended by 100 local MSMEs, this program supported by the Ministry of Trade is designed to help MSMEs from traditional market traders to micro business players by adopting digital tools such as the WhatsApp Business application to better connect with customers.
In addition, the use of WhatsApp Business can also increase sales and continue to grow amid increasing competition, disaster risks and economic pressure.
"This activity is a form of Meta's support for National Online Shopping Day or Harbolnas which will be held on December 12 which will be held," said Meta Country Director for Indonesia, Peter Lydian in his remarks on Wednesday, December 3 in Jakarta.
Through this training, participants will be guided in using WhatsApp Business to communicate directly with customers, strengthen relationships and increase trust with customers, and expand operations, directly from their cellphones.

The Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso, also appreciated Meta's steps in providing digitalization training for MSMEs. Because according to him, after all, digital development cannot be ignored.
"We can't avoid this. Don't let it happen because it's not online, the goods don't continue. Yes, that's why we thank Meta for providing training to MSMEs," said Trade Minister Budi Santoso.
