The TNI Commander Explains The Cause Of The Disbursement Of Aid Rice When Submissioned To Flood Victims
TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto explained about the rice incident that was scattered on the ground when TNI personnel dropped logistical assistance from helicopters at the North Sumatra flash flood site.
Agus said the incident of scattered rice began when the helicopter used by the TNI to send aid could not land at the location of the decline in logistics.
"At yesterday the helicopter was about to land, there was a cable so it was decided by the pilot, the goods (logistics) were still dropped," Agus said while at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, Wednesday, December 3.
Agus explained that the logistical assistance was still brought down from the helicopter in order to meet the needs of the victims affected by the flash flood whose territory was difficult to access by land route.
The Commander said that his party would continue to send aid carefully to ensure that logistics were in good condition and fit for use by flood-affected victims.
