Apple Music Replay Already Released, See Annual Music Listening History

JAKARTA Apple Music, a competitor platform from Spotify, has finally introduced the Replay feature. The feature that provides flashbacks of user music activities over the past year will be available on December 2, 2025.

Like the previous year, this feature will highlight the best songs, artists, and albums for a year. This annual feature also includes metrics about user listening habits. However, this year Apple added a new category.

The category is 'discovery', where the category will highlight new artists discovered and listened to by users. In addition, there is a 'Loyality' category that highlights artists that users continue to listen to every year.

Next, there is the 'Back' category to highlight artists who are back in the rotation of listening to users after a long time of not playing. Users can see the total minutes they spent listening to the streaming service.

They can also see the total number of artists being listened to, the longest-serving artist record, and their favorite genre. To access the Apple Music Replay feature, users can open the dashboard available via the Home tab.

If users want to see the annual summary of their activity for a year, they can access the All Time Replay playlist. This annual recap feature is not only available to users, but also artists or musicians.

They can access metrics to see the growth of listeners and summary of performances from year to year. They can also see the total audience, country, city, and total minutes of listening, as in previous years.
