Pucat Usai Diperiksa KPK Terkait Korupsi Bank BJB, RK: Saya Tire

JAKARTA - Former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil admitted that he was tired after being questioned by investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today, December 2.

He conveyed this after undergoing examination from 10.40 WIB to 16.30 WIB or about six hours at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. He was questioned as a witness to alleged corruption in the procurement of advertisements for PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR).

Initially he claimed not to receive any money from procurement which ended up being corrupted. All assets confiscated by the anti-corruption commission, including the Mercedes Benz 280 SL, he said, were bought using personal money instead of non-budget funds from Bank BJB.

"Yes, all personal funds. Later that will be the truth that will be conveyed," Ridwan Kamil told reporters at the location.

"Others, ask my lawyer, yes, I'm a bit tired," continued the former Mayor of Bandung.

Ridwan Kamil also admitted that he received a number of questions from investigators. However, the exact number he did not want to go into details.

"There's a lot of value," he said while passing through the crowd of reporters.

Meanwhile, the anti-corruption commission once said that the examination of Ridwan Kamil was carried out recently. This is because investigators need to trace the flow of non-budget funds from a number of witnesses such as celebrity Lisa Mariana to the son of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia B. J. Habibie, Ilham Habibie.

Habibie's son is known to have been summoned because Ridwan Kamil bought his father's Mercedes Benz 280 SL. The money to pay is thought to have come from the non-budgeting fund.

The non-budget fund is the difference in paying for the procurement of advertisements for Bank BJB returned by the tender winning company. The management is called the KPK carried out by the corporate secretary (corsec) section.

"So we asked for information from LM then from the suspects who had been determined and then from IAH we also investigated," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Thursday, October 2.

"So that later we will confirm the information they provide to RK's brother," continued he, who also serves as Director of KPK Investigation.

Previously reported, the KPK has named five suspects in connection with allegations of corruption in the procurement of advertisements at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR).

They are former President Director of Bank BJB Yuddy Renaldi; Head of Bank BJB Corporate Secretary Division Widi Hartoto; Agency Controller Antedja Muliatama and Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri Kin Asikin Dulmanan; Agency Controller BSC Advertising and PT Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspres (WSBE) Suhendrik; and Controller of PT Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama (CKSB) and PT Cipta Karya Mandiri Bersama (CKMB) Raden Sophan Jaya Kusuma.

This case investigation warrant (sprindik) was issued on February 27, 2025. The actions of the five suspects are suspected of having caused the state to lose up to Rp22 billion.

Currently, the detention has not been carried out on five suspects. However, they have been prevented from traveling abroad for six months and can be extended according to the needs of the investigation.

In handling this alleged riot, investigators have searched a number of places. One of them, Ridwan Kamil's private house and confiscated a Royal Enfield motorbike.
