Indonesian Financial Industry Vulnerable To Cyber Attacks, Astra Credit Guarantees Safe System

JAKARTA - PT Astra Sedaya Finance or Astra Credit Companies (ACC) ensures that the company's system is currently safe and secure from cyber attacks.

ACC Chief Marketing & Sales Officer Tan Chian Hok emphasized that his party is paying great attention to protecting the system from cyber attacks.

"In general conditions now, we don't have a problem. Everything is guaranteed, because we use the best cyber programs we can use," he said when met after the Astra Auto Fest 2025 press conference at Astra Tower, Jakarta, Monday, December 1.

Chian Hok admitted that the allocation of costs for this matter was not small. Even so, he did not reveal the exact amount. It's just that, he said, the company has poured quite a lot of budget for this.

"I don't remember the numbers, but we allocated quite a lot," he added.

Previously, PT Clipan Finance Indonesia Tbk (CFIN) reported that the company's operational system was affected by cyber attacks on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Currently, the system's stabilization process continues to be carried out to reduce the potential for disruption to main services.

"We inform you that on November 26, 2025, the company has experienced cyber attacks," wrote the management of Clipan Finance in the information disclosure of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted Monday, December 1.

The management of Clipan Finance said that currently, the company is temporarily switching off several main systems that cause disruption of services to debtors and some operational activities.

Furthermore, members of the company's Cyber Incident Response Team (TTIS) have collaborated with related parties to identify technical areas that require adjustments.
