Monty Tiwa Emphasizes The Importance Of Literacy In Works And Careers
JAKARTA - The author and director of senior, Monty Tiwa, emphasized the importance of enriching literacy in everyday life. Not only for those who want to work, literacy also has a vital role in career development.
He conveyed this when he was a speaker at the Sixerhood Literacy Friends (Telisix) which took place at SMAN 6 Jakarta, 28 and 29 November. For him, literacy is the key to success in survival.
"We have often said about the importance of literacy in various ways. The simple thing is, if you want to live, you have to have literacy. That is one of the basic human needs," he said in the discussion session.
Bekal literature yang cukup punya bertukar terhadap kesuksesan Monty Tiwa yang dikenal sebagai sineas multi-genre. Ia bahkan mengaku lebih suka memperkenalkan diri sebagai penulis dibanding sutradara, karena cintasan yang mendalam di literature.
The atmosphere was cheered when the director offered students an internship and studied films with him. "Especially for high school students, there are 6 priority internship routes at my place to study movies," he exclaimed.

The director of the film Suddenly Dangdut to GJLS also shared tips for those who want to enter as a filmmaker. There is one important thing that he emphasized as the first principle of being a director.
"If you wake up, you want to tell people, it's halfway to the moviemaking. So you have to know what to say first, because the film is only medium," he said.
In the session, Nadya Arina also shared about her experience of learning literacy and work since high school. According to him, this experience helped him more confidently when he first entered the entertainment world.
"In my past there was a TVC subject, so we worked on a group to make video clips. From there, we started trying acting and casting on one of the television stations," he recalled.
Sebagai sesama lulus SMA 6, Monty Tiwa dan Nadya Arina bekerja sama di sejumlah project termasuk di film GJLS: Ibu Ibu-buah yang cukup eksplorif dan banyak dibicarakan karena keuninannya.
