2 Picket Officers Have Been Examined By Propam In The Aftermath Of Stepfather Alvaro Committing Suicide After Becoming A Suspect

Polda Metro Jaya confirmed that the Propam Division of Polda Metro Jaya had examined two guard officers or pickets when Alvaro Kiano Nugroho's 6 stepfather, Alex Iskandar alias AI (6), committed suicide in the psychological counseling room of the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Yes, it has been investigated," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto to VOI, Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Budi did not want to explain the details regarding the timing or results of the examination. He said it was under the authority of the Propam Division of the Polda Metro Jaya.

"For results, please go to Propam, because that's their domain. The examination is an internal examination," he said.

Previously, Alex Iskandar was found dead by suicide in the South Jakarta Metro Police psychological counseling room on Sunday, November 23 in the morning.

Alex committed suicide after being named a suspect in the kidnapping and murder of his stepdaughter Alvaro Kiano Nugroho.

Police have also revealed Alex's motive and role in the case of Alvaro's disappearance since last March.

Head of Propam South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Bayu Agung Ariyanto, said that his party had carried out an internal examination to confirm whether or not there was negligence by officers at the time of Alex's death.

"Regarding this suicide, we have examined two personnel who were on picket at that time," he said.
