Visiting Crystal Palace, MU Confirmed Without Matheus Cunha
JAKARTA - Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim confirmed that his team will play without Matheus Cunha when they travel to Crystal Palace on week 13 of the Premier League Sunday, November 30.
Cunha's absence adds to the long list of problems for coach Ruben Amorim after Everton's 0-1 disappointing defeat on Tuesday (25/11).
The Brazilian suffered a minor injury during training ahead of the match against Everton. He will join Benjamin Sesko (striker) and Harry Maguire (center back) who are also still recovering.
"Sesko needs a little more time, as well as Harry. Matheus is likely to be able to return in the next match, not this weekend," Amorim said at a press conference quoted on the official MU website, Saturday.
Currently, the Red Devils are stuck in 10th place with 18 points, only two points adrift of Crystal Palace in fifth position.
Despite having recorded five unbeaten matches before losing to Everton, Amorim remains disappointed with his team's points.
"I see games after matches, we should have more points," the Portuguese coach complained, referring to the draw against Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.
We had some games, had the lead, but then lost control. It was very disappointing, especially in the last game.
After the defeat to Everton, Amorim publicly stated that his team's level of play was far from what was expected.

"We have to be aware that in this league, things can change very quickly. We have to refocus on the next game. We must feel the urgency to win, because everyone knows what happens at this club if we continue to fail to win," he said.
Manchester United have only won one away win in the last 11 matches in all competitions.
"It's hard to point out one reason why we have a hard time winning outside the home. There are many things we're working on. Most importantly, we have to learn how to end the game with a win," said Amorim.
He also highlighted the decrease in the intensity of the team while playing at Old Trafford in the last match.
"I feel the intensity at home is usually higher, but last Tuesday it wasn't like that. It was a big homework that we had to fix immediately."
