Aespa To Im Siwan Donations For Hong Kong Fire Victims
JAKARTA - K-pop artists and actors sent donations to victims of a major fire that occurred in Wang Fuk, Tai Po, Hong Kong. The incident, which took place on Wednesday, November 26, left the victim dead and seriously injured.
That same week, the 2025 MAMA Awards ceremony was held at Kai Tak Stadium not far from the scene. The MAMA award which was held repeatedly in Hong Kong also made artists donate.
A number of South Korean companies such as YG Entertainment, WAKEONE, and SM Entertainment donated 1 million Hong Kong dollars (HK). Then, there is HYBE which donated 2.6 million Hong Kong dollars or the equivalent of IDR 5 billion.
JYP Entertainment donated 2 million Hong Kong dollars, followed by THE BLACKLABEL of 500 thousand Hong Kong dollars.
CJ ENM as the organizer of the MAMA Awards donated 20 million Hong Kong dollars. They also announced a number of changes to award events such as no red carpet and support delivered at the event.
Several female K-pop groups such as i-dle donated 1 million Yuan, aespa and IVE as much as 500 thousand Hong Kong dollars.

Actors Im Siwan and Hyeri also contributed 200 thousand Hong Kong dollars followed by EXO-CBX, TWS, and BOYNEXTDOOR as much as 500 thousand Hong Kong dollars. The KICKFLIP group donated 100 thousand Hong Kong dollars.
Zhang Hao from ZEROBASE also donated an amount that was not disclosed to the public.
Several K-pop artists who attended the 2025 MAMA Awards include BOYNEXTDOOR, IVE, Super Junior, TWS, i-dle, KICKFLIP, RIIZE, and Stray Kids.
