Christian Pulisic Will Be Absent From Defending Milan Against Lazio Due To A New Injury

JAKARTA - Christian Pulisic is likely to miss the AC Milan match in Serie A against Lazio this weekend.

The American star, who recently recovered from a hamstring injury, withdrew from training on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, local time, due to slightly muscle discomfort.

Speaking at a press conference before the match, Massimiliano Allegri was pessimistic about Pulisic's opportunity to be declared fit in time for the match on Sunday, November 30, 2025 WIB.

"Pulisic is most likely not going to play even though there are still two more days before the game and anything can happen," he said.

Pulisic suffered a minor tear in his right hamstring in the first round of the United States National Team's friendly match which ended in a 2-1 win over Australia on October 17, 2025.

He returned to play as a substitute in the 2-2 draw match of the Parma Kondra on November 8, 2025.

While not on Mauricio Pochettino's list of United States players for the friendly against Paraguay and Uruguay in November 2025, Pulisic started and scored his only goal in the AC Milan Derby win over Inter Milan last weekend.

AC Milan are two points behind leaders Serie A, Roma, ahead of the match to host Lazio this weekend.
