Senja Nusantara Jazz Held For The First Time At TMII, November 30

JAKARTA - Mount Indonesia Jazz is again enlivening the capital city stage. After holding three series 'downstream', the promoter behind the Mount Series Jazz presents a new music program called "Jazz Senja Nusantara".

This initiative is not just a show, but a strategic step to restore jazz music to a place that was once a witness to its gold history in the capital city.

Instead of presenting a rigid format, this program, which is carried out through collaboration with Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) offers an inclusive art and culture experience, designed so that it can be enjoyed by a wider spectrum of visitors.

Meanwhile, the inaugural Senja Nusantara Jazz is scheduled to take place at the TMII Cultural Stage on Sunday, November 30 at 17.00 WIB.

For the opening episode, the stage will be filled with the appearance of Kevin Yosua Big 6, who is known for his performance on the modern jazz stage.

The main attraction of this collaboration is access. Visitors simply pay for TMII entrance tickets without being charged an additional fee to enjoy the entire series of events. However, given the limited capacity of the performance area, visitors are advised to arrive early to secure the place.

The Senja Nusantara Jazz is here to carry a deeper mission. Bagas Kandiatmono as CEO of Mount Indonesia Jazz said this program was based on the spirit to restore the glory of jazz in the TMII environment.

"In the period 1985 to 1986, TMII was once home to a historic jazz event with different names, which is an important part of the journey of Indonesian jazz," Bagas said in his statement.

Through a new format that is claimed to be more relevant to the preferences of today's generation, Mount Jazz seeks to revive the spirit from the golden era. Bagas emphasized that this event is a very important pilot project (pilot project), and is expected to be able to pave the way for the creation of sustainable jazz programs at TMII in the years to come.

The Senja Nusantara Jazz itself is designed as a series of routine events that will combine the beauty of dusk, the uniqueness of the open space TMII, and the musical curation typical of Mount Jazz that has been tested.

After the first appearance, TMII and Mount Jazz have prepared a follow-up episode at the end of December, promising a list of musicians who are more varied and interesting.

This collaboration substantially strengthens TMII's position as a dynamic cultural space. Through this partnership, both parties show a real commitment to presenting high-quality art programs that can be accessed by all levels of society, from music fans to families who are looking for educational entertainment alternatives on weekends.
