Tottenham Hotspurs Vs Fulham: Host Crisis! Guests Ready To Steal Points
Tottenham Hotspur were under great pressure ahead of the London Derby on Saturday night 29 November when they hosted Fulham in the Premier League continued. In a battered condition after being beaten by Arsenal and involved in a full eight-goal match in Paris, Spurs are now facing a risk of a third successive defeat in all competitions. In contrast, Fulham came with a narrow 1-0 victory over Sunderland which revived their confidence.
Since the international break ended, Tottenham looked very fragile on the back. They have conceded an average of one goal every twenty minutes in the last two games, including a 3-5 loss to Paris Saint-Germain. Despite Spurs' attack to perform well in the Parc des Princes match, they still were unable to withstand a wave of PSG attacks led by Vitinha with spectacular hat trick.
The defeat came after they were beaten by city rivals Arsenal with a score of 1-4 at the Emirates the previous weekend. With four defeats and only one win from the last six matches, Spurs' condition is far from stable.
But their position in the standings wasn't entirely bad. Despite sitting ninth, Spurs are only three points adrift of the top four. They also scored ten goals in four games, suggesting the front line was still productive despite their build-up play being criticized.

The biggest problem is their home performance. Tottenham have only picked up five points from six Premier League home games this season, making them the team with the second-worst home record, only better than Wolverhampton Wanderers who have one point.
Fulham himself has a different problem. They became one of the team with the worst away record of the season as they have never won in six Premier League away games. Five of the six matches ended in defeat, while the only draw came against Brighton in the first week.
But Marco Silva's strong home performance kept Marco Silva safe from pressure. A dramatic 1-0 win over Sunderland last week through Raul Jimenez's late goal took them away from the relegation zone and up to 15th, three points ahead of the bottom three.
Fulham have had interesting characteristics in recent matches: four of their five Premier League games have only ended with one team scoring, including the last three games.
They also came to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a good record because they were unbeaten in the last three meetings against Spurs. The meeting at the stadium in December 2024 ended in a 1-1 draw, then Fulham won the duel at Craven Cottage in March 2025 with a score of 2-0.
Tottenham faces additional challenges for losing Cristian Romero who was penalized with card accumulation after receiving his fifth yellow card this season against Arsenal. Radu Dragusin has recovered from an ACL injury but is not ready to play as a starter so Kevin Danso is expected to have a duet with Micky van de Ven in the back.
Spurs also remain without Dejan Kulusevski with a knee injury, James Maddison with an ACL injury, Dominic Solanke with an ankle problem, and Yves Bissouma who is still absent due to a similar injury. There is an opportunity for Takai City to return to the squad after recovering from a thigh and leg injury.
Fulham's situation turned positive with Sasa Lukic's return after serving a card accumulation sentence. His presence allowed Alex Iwobi to move further, possibly replacing Josh King. Samuel Chukwueze also has the opportunity to appear as a starter after entering the bench and providing a decisive assist victory over Sunderland. Antonee Robinson is likely to remain absent due to a knee injury, while Rodrigo Muniz still has to be sidelined until February due to a thigh injury.
With the condition of both teams having a striking weakness at home and a pathetic Fulham in the away match this match is predicted to be tight. Fulham is believed to be able to take advantage of the fragile Spurs' defense at least once, while the hosts still have the quality to score a return goal. The London Derby duel is predicted to end in a 1-1 draw.
