A Total Of 34 Garuda Indonesia-Citilink Aircraft Still Grounded

JAKARTA - PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) announced that there are still 34 fleets of aircraft that have not been able to fly to date or are grounded.

The plane also belongs to PT Citilink Indonesia.

"Approximately 34 aircraft are still grounded," said Garuda Indonesia Technical Director, Mukhtaris in a virtual Garuda Indonesia Public Expose, Thursday, November 27.

Even so, Mukhtaris said, Garuda Indonesia has operated 58 aircraft per day, out of a total of 72 units of its fleet.

"With Garuda itself, we are maintenance flying 58 aircraft, out of a total of 72 of our aircraft," he said.

Meanwhile, for Citilink Indonesia, continued Mukhtaris, the total fleet operating was 31 aircraft in December 2025.

Adapun total armada yang dimiliki Citilink Indonesia ada sebanyak 56 pesawat. Rinciannya, 49 Airbus A320neo dan tujuh unit ATR.

Namun, sambung dia, saat periode puncak atau peak season libur Natal 2025 dan Tahun Baru 2026 (Nataru), akan ditambah menjadi 38 pesawat.

“Tapi nanti sebelum peak season, Citilink akan menerbangkan total 38 pesawat, dari kurang lebih 56,” ucapnya.

As for the total fleet owned by Citilink Indonesia, there are 56 aircraft. The details are 49 Airbus A320neo and seven ATR units.

However, he continued, during the peak period or peak season for the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) holidays, it will be increased to 38 aircraft.

"But later before the season peak, Citilink will fly a total of 38 aircraft, out of approximately 56," he said.
