Launching At GJAW 2025, Sprinto Electric Motors Achieve 500 Unit Orders

JAKARTA - The choice of electric motorcycles in Indonesia is increasingly diverse, most recently PT Indomobil International (IEI) officially launched Sprinto, the latest electric scooter at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) exhibition.

This launch is a strategic step for IEI in expanding the portfolio of two-wheeled electric vehicles while at the same time presenting a choice of modern, efficient, and powerful mobility for urban communities.

Sprinto is here as an answer to the needs of consumers who want electric vehicles with attractive designs, qualified performance, and prices that remain friendly in their pockets. So what are the specifications?

Indomobil eMotor Sprinto comes with a sporty design approach combined with a futuristic touch. The front looks firm and modern, reinforced by VoltAura Emblem, AeroBlade Panel, and Volt Armor Panel which adds to the aggressive character. On the back, Arc Tail Light with bright lighting increases visibility at night, while Geoforce Ready Panel affirms design integration with a digital feature carried by Sprinto.

Not only relying on appearance, Sprinto is equipped with aggressive power. The 3.5 kW electric motorbike with 195 Nm instant torque provides rapid acceleration for stop-and-go needs in urban areas.

Internal testing results show Sprinto is capable of surging from 050 km/h in 6.4 seconds, making it one of the best in its class. The peak speed reaches 90 km/hour, providing more flexibility while driving on large lanes. Sprinto also offers 3-Speed Feature and Boost Mode for extra power boosts. Meanwhile, Lithium 2.45 kWh batteries provide a distance of up to 110 km (with certain conditions), enough for daily mobility without charging frequently.

There are various premium features presented, such as -Traction Control System (TCS), Combi Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, Regenerative Braking, Anti-Theft Alarm and IP67 to water protection standards.

High Enthusiasm

Priced at IDR 25.5 million, this motorbike is quite interesting. In fact, Sprinto managed to record nearly 500 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) and the figure continues.

We are very grateful to see such a good response from visitors to GJAW 2025. Our sprinto was designed as an affordable, practical, and powerful electric mobility solution. The achievement towards 500 SPK in the first five days is a motivation for us to continue to provide better innovations for the Indonesian people," said CEO of PT Indomobil Emotor Internasional, Pius Wirawan, in his statement, Thursday, November 27.

Interestingly, this achievement does not only come from retail customers, but also from the big interest of the business sector. According to Pius, extraordinary enthusiasm was also supported by demand from B2B customers.

"Some companies see a very significant value of operational efficiency. Sprinto is able to provide savings of up to around IDR 7 million per year for each unit," he concluded.
