Indra Sjafri Pockets 23 Players For The 2025 SEA Games, Announced The Longest The Day After

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team coach, Indra Sjafri, has pocketed 23 names of players who will be brought to Thailand for the 2025 SEA Games agenda. The announcement of the row of players, said the coach, will be made in the next one or two days.

"Alhamdulillah, what we plan to do, including regarding players, thank God there are no issues that we need to worry about and everything goes smoothly."

"Maybe a day or two the coaching team has had to assign 23 players to be submitted and announced by PSSI," said Indra Sjafri after leading the team's training at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, afternoon WIB.

For Indra Sjafri, it is not easy to determine the final results of the names of the players to be brought to Thailand. Of the total 31 names who were called to attend the training camp (TC), he had to cross out eight players.

"So, sometimes the most difficult coaches decide the players. However, God willing, we have parameters from the coaching team, I ask the performance team to work for two days. We should have announced yesterday, but we are trying to back down one day."

"God willing, tonight or tomorrow morning I will tell the players by calling them," said Indra Sjafri.

At the 2025 SEA Games which will be held in Thailand, the U-23 Indonesian national team is in Group C with Singapore, the Philippines, and Myanmar.
