Former Director General Of Taxes Suryo Utomo Called AGO, Purbaya: Let The Legal Process Run
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has summoned and examined the former Expert Staff of the Minister of Finance for Tax Compliance, Suryo Utomo (SU), regarding the investigation into alleged corruption in the tax payment process for the 2016-2020 period.
In addition, Suryo Utomo has previously served as Director General (Dirjen) of Taxes, has been questioned as a witness by investigators at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes on Tuesday, November 25.
On the same day, the AGO also examined the Head of KPP Madya Dua Semarang, Pribas Ning Dijah Prananingrum, as part of the deepening of the investigation of the case.
Responding to the examination, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive emphasized that his party fully supports the ongoing law enforcement process.
"We let the legal process run," he told the media crew, when met at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Wednesday, November 26.
As is known, the AGO is investigating allegations of tax corruption in the 2016-2020 range.
