Grand Vitara Refreshment Still Without ADAS, Here's Suzuki's Response

JAKARTA - Suzuki Indonesia presents a refresher for the Grand Vitara SUV model, which launched at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025. The refresher covers both the exterior and interior.

However, the Suzuki Grand Vitara is still not equipped with the Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) feature. So what is the reason Suzuki hasn't produced the above?

Responding to this, PT SIS' 4W Marketing Managing Director, Donny Saputra said the features presented at the Suzuki Grand Vitara had adjusted the market needs in its segment.

"Each model we adapt to segments and studies of consumer needs," he said, when met at ICE BSD.

According to the man who is familiarly called Donny, the Grand Vitara segment needs a seat or ventilated seat cooler compared to ASIS. Unlike the Suzukifront SUV in the style of a Couple which has been embedded with Suzuki Safety Support technology.

"What is needed is an ventilated seat because for convenience, if there is an electronic parking brake," he added.

Indeed, currently the latest Suzuki Grand Vitara is equipped with an electronic parking brake accompanied by an auto hold, which replaces the manual handbrake. This of course really helps for stop and go traffic.

"When we select the feature, it is adjusted to the results of research and studies of existing segments," he explained.
