Pertamina Ensures That The Merger Of Its Three Subsidiaries Is Carried Out Gradually
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures that the business integration prospects for its three subsidiaries, the integration of Commercial & Trading Subholding, Refinery & Petrochemical, and Integrated Marine Logistics will be carried out in stages.
The three subsidiaries that will be merged are Pertamina Patra Niaga, Pertamina International Shipping, and Pertamina International Refinery.
Pertamina's Director of Business Transformation and Sustainability, Agung Wicaksono, said that the merger of the three usha children was designed to increase the efficiency of downstream businesses, accelerate decision making, and strengthen product competitiveness.
"We are sure that this integration will also strengthen the national energy supply chain," Agung said in a statement to the media, Wednesday, November 26.
He explained that this process will be carried out in stages and is still waiting for approval from stakeholders.
"All stages are still waiting for the approval of the stakeholders. We ensure that the process runs carefully and according to the principle of governance," continued Agung.
Previously, the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, targeted the merger of three Pertamina subsidiaries to be completed on January 1, 2026.
"We are still chasing it, hopefully as of January 1, 2026 it will be implemented (merger)," Simon told the media crew when met at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Building, Monday, November 10.

Menurut Simon, saat ini proses merger ketiga anak usaha ini telah memasuki tahap finalisasi dan akan dilaporkan kepada Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara) agar memperoleh persetujuan.
"Kita akan lapor ke Danantara," sambung Simon.
Simon menjelaskan, pengabungan PIS, KPI dan Pertamna Patra Niaga ini dimaksudkan agar Pertamina tetap meningkatkan performa perusahaan di tengah tantangan ekonomi dalam negeri dan globalk.
"Kondisi global juga banyak challenges," jelas dia.

According to Simon, currently the merger process of the three subsidiaries has entered the finalization stage and will be reported to the Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara) in order to obtain approval.
"We will report to Danantara," continued Simon.
Simon explained that the merger of PIS, KPI and Pertamna Patra Niaga was intended so that Pertamina would continue to improve the company's performance in the midst of domestic and global economic challenges.
"There are also many challenges in global conditions," he explained.
