President Prabowo Rehabilitation Of Former ASDP President Director Ira Puspadewi
JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto had signed a rehabilitation letter for former ASDP President Director Ira Puspadewi and two other names, after the long dynamics of the case that has dragged the state-owned transportation company officials since July 2024.
This was conveyed by Dasco at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday, November 25. Dasco explained that the DPR received many complaints and aspirations from the public regarding cases included in the number 68/Pitsus TPK 2025 of the Central Jakarta District Court. Therefore, the DPR asked the Legal Commission to conduct a thorough study of the investigation process that has been running since July 2024.
"After receiving various aspirations from the community and community groups, we asked the Legal Commission to conduct a legal study. We conveyed the results of the study to the government," said Dasco.
According to him, the communication between the DPR and the government is the key point. As a result, President Prabowo signed a letter of rehabilitation for Ira Puspadewi, Muhammad Yusuf Hadi and Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono. The letter, said Dasco, has been officially issued.
Rehabilitation in the Criminal Procedure Code is the restoration of rights, positions, and the dignity of someone who is considered aggrieved by investigations or detentions that are not based on law.
