Nicolas Maduro Dances Like Trump, Voices No War Yes Peace
JAKARTA - In the midst of tensions with US President Donald Trump regarding drug smuggling, Venezuelan President Nicol? Maduro has again voiced peace.
This time Maduro dances to follow the remix of the slogans of peace in student demonstrations in Caracas.
Videos from the National Student Day celebration show Maduro swaying to the rhythm, as if imitating President Donald Trump's signature dance movement.
The song contains Maduro's own recycled phrases from speeches promoting peace and rejecting the war amid rising tensions with the US.

The video comes about a week after Maduro sang "Imagine" in demonstrations, calling for peace while the Trump administration strengthened its military presence near Venezuela to stem drug trafficking.
Maduro called John Lennon a poet and musician who left "a gift for humanity."
He invited young people to pay close attention to the lyrics of the song, and described the song as a national anthem for each generation.
"A very beautiful song. The lyrics are young people, find out the lyrics," he said, according to translation.
"This song is an inspiration of all time. A national anthem for all eras and generations that John Lennon left as a gift for mankind. May the eternal memory of the great poet and musician, John Lennon, stay alive," continued Maduro.
While Maduro calls for peace, the US has significantly increased its military presence across the Caribbean, deploying bombers, warships, and marine vessels as part of operations targeting drug trafficking in the region, including airstrikes against ships suspected of being smugglers.
