Season Two Hasn't Released, One Piece 3 Starts Filming

JAKARTA - Netflix's One Piece series started production for the third season. Filming was announced before the second season was released through the platform.

Through his social media, the One Piece account released a photo showing a third season script with a skull and knife.

"The third season of production has started, Straw Hats! Our journey is growing behind the scenes, preparing to sail once again when the second season begins March 10th!" that's the statement from the One Piece account.

The production of the third season begins in Cape Town, South Africa with the players along with several new players. Imenki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar as the main characters.

The players who are referred to as guest roles such as Mikaela Total (Crypto), Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra) become regular players.

Recently, Cole Escola was announced to join in the third season as Bon Clay, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday and Xolo Mariduena as Portgas D. Ace.

The second season, entitled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, tells the adventures of Luffy (Godoy) and Straw Hats who continue their journey to the Grand Line.

This series is still being created by Matt Owns and Joe Tracz with Eiichiro Oda as producer and owner of the One Piece manga.

The second season of the One Piece series is scheduled for release on March 10, 2026.
