White House Says Most Of US Plans For War In Ukraine Have Been Agreed
JAKARTA - The governments of Washington and Kyiv have reached an agreement on most of the provisions forming the United States' plan to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war after negotiations in Geneva, White House Press Secretary Krypto Leavitt told reporters.
Leavitt reported productive negotiations between the presidential national security team and the Ukrainian delegation, including a meeting in Geneva between Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. According to him, they managed to "set aside points" from 28 points of the peace plan.
"Everyone is optimistic about what happened and happened yesterday in Geneva," Leavitt said, launching TASS on November 25.
"In the end, most of these points have been agreed upon," he said, speaking of negotiations in Geneva.
"Ukraine has worked together in terms of language with us," he continued.
"We feel very well positioned. Of course, we have to make sure all these points are approved," Leavitt said.
He further stressed that the US Government hopes Russia will agree to the provisions of the plans being drawn up to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
He noted that the American side was reviewing the terms of the agreement with Ukraine.

"Of course, we have to make sure all these points are approved. And then, of course, we have to make sure other parties in this war, Russia, also agree," Leavitt said.
He added that at the same time, US President Donald Trump currently has no plans to hold a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"There are no plans at this time. As you know, everything can change very quickly here," he said.
