Mobility Flow Of Funds Allegedly Causes Of Gus Yahya's Dispersal

Political observer Adib Miftahul suspects that the internal dynamics that urge the resignation of Kiai Yahya Cholil Staquf as the General Chair of PBNU cannot be separated from the alleged issue of the flow of large funds that could flow within PBNU.

This can be seen from one of the points in the decision of the PBNU Syuriyah meeting minutes which states that there are indications of violations of financial governance in the PBNU environment which are considered contrary to the shara law, laws and regulations, Article 97-99 of the NU Household Budget, and Regulations of the NU Association, and are seen as endangering the existence of legal entities of the NU Association.

"Perhaps, Syuriah will begin to know that there is an extraordinary flow of funds in PBNU," he said, Sunday, November 23.

Adib assessed that the large resources of power within the scope of PBNU made strategic positions in the organization very tempting.

"Earlier I said, one of the reasons why PBNU now seems to be almost like a political party, is in terms of power, because it is very, very tempting once we can lead the power at PBNU," he added.

He gave an example, the closeness of PBNU to the government, mining management to the large number of cadres who occupy strategic positions in the ministry, it creates a public perception that there is a practice of power sharing, which in the end is vulnerable to the issue of the unclear mobility of funds.

On the other hand, the position of the younger brother of the Head of PBNU, who is also the former Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas or Gus Yaqut whose name was dragged into the alleged corruption case of the hajj quota being handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"Incidentally, his younger brother, Ketum PBNU, who I think really discredits his current position. Although for example, there will be this issue for Kiaiittah NU and so on, what is the kiaiir? The flow of money, the other question is, it's just bridging as a tool. actually, "said Adib.
