JAKARTA - A well-known car manufacturer in the world from China, BYD continues to build a strong foundation in terms of technology, and is supported by the quality of superior R&D experts' resources, making it continue to achieve positive achievements in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia.

The man who is familiarly called Boby said that this seriousness was proven through the launch of Blade Battery technology in 2020 which became a milestone for the change in the electric vehicle industry, followed by an increase in net profit and R&D investment value which continues to grow every year.

BYD has also previously introduced seven models with fast charging technology that are received positively by the Indonesian market, while continuing to develop advanced innovations, especially in charging systems, as a form of long-term dedication to research and development in each product presented.

"Continuous innovation encourages BYD to present the BYD Megawatt-Charging superfast charging technology that integrates Super E-Platform as a revolutionary solution to the experience of next-generation electric vehicles," he added.

Supported by high-voltage architecture, cutting-edge battery technology, and large-power charging systems, the platform optimizes performance as well as delivers very fast charging for long distances, answering concerns about limited cruising power. In fact, the battery technology is capable of charging very quickly over a span of 5 minutes to gain a cruising range of up to 400 km.

"This innovation is an important milestone in the global automotive industry and emphasizes the transformation of BYD into a real force that continues to encourage technological advances for better mobility, especially for the people of Indonesia," he explained.

Positive Achievements In The Global Market

At the global level, BYD Group continues to show positive achievements while maintaining its position as transitional leader towards green mobility. BYD also confirmed its achievements as a leading player in the New Energy Vehicle (BEV & PHEV) market for three consecutive years, with total sales reaching 14.2 million units until October 2025 and market coverage which now reaches 117 countries.
