Australian Open 2025: Schedule 7 Indonesian Representatives In Semifinals

JAKARTA Indonesia placed seven representatives in the semifinals of the Australian Open 2025, three of which came from the men's doubles sector so that one final ticket was already in hand.

The match for the last eight of the BWF Super 500 level event was completed on Friday, November 21, 2025. Of the nine representatives who fought, two died.

The two representatives who had to bury their dreams were the men's singles Alwi Farhan and the women's doubles Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Alwi suffered the most painful defeat. He won in the first game and was already five points ahead when he got the match point against Chou Tien Chen, but unfortunately that opportunity just disappeared.

As for Apri/Fadia, they must recognize the superiority of their country's compatriot, Rachel Alllessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, who passed to accompany Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari in the semifinals.

Rachel/Febi in the semifinals on Saturday, November 21, 2025, will meet a couple from the United States,Are you crazy/Jennie Gai. Their duel will take place in the first match of Field 1.

Febriana / Meilysa also played in the first match, but their action against Kokona Ishikawa / Ririna Badminton from Japan took place in Field 2. This duel was held possibly after Rachel / Febi's appearance.

Of the men's doubles, the three representatives who passed were Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin.

One of Fajar/Fikri and Sabar/Reza was confirmed to have been eliminated in the semifinals due to clashes. The civil war in the men's doubles will take place in Field 2, right after Febriana/Maysa's appearance.

The action of fellow Indonesian representatives is likely to coincide with the Raymond/Nikolaus party, who was subjected to a tough test against Malaysia's second seed, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin, in the second match of Field 1.

Field 1 is also the venue for the mixed doubles match of Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and the women's singles Kusuma Wardani.

Jafar/Felisha fought Rutanapak Oupthong/Jhenicha Sudjaipraparat (Thailand) in the sixth party, while Putri as the second seed competed in the last match against Michelle Li, Canada's seventh seed.

The Australian Open semifinals match will start at 12.00 Australian time or 08.00 WIB. The actions of Indonesian representatives can be watched live on TVRI television stations and streaming on Vidio.
