3 Suspects For Counterfeiting The Mandalika MotoGP VIP Sticker, Scheduled Files Are Handed Over To Prosecutors Next Week
NTB - Mataram City Police (Polresta) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) took legal action by detaining two new suspects in the alleged case of counterfeiting stickers for VIP-category spectator vehicles at the 2025 MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit.
Head of the Special Crime Unit of the Mataram Police Satreskrim, Ipda Imamul Ahyar, confirmed the detention of two new suspects who played the role of ordering MotoGP stickers.
"Yes, we have detained the two new suspects at the Mataram Police Headquarters," he said in Mataram, Friday, which was confiscated by Antara.
The identities of the two new suspects have the initials AR and AM. Both are known to live in Mataram City.
Following up on the detention, Ahyar emphasized that investigators are currently working on resolving the case file for the delegation needs to the research prosecutor.
"Yes, hopefully next week we can hand over the file to the prosecutor," he said.
The first suspect in this case has the initials MSU who acts as the maker of fake stickers ordered by two new suspects.
From the series of investigations, it was revealed that AR and AM ordered MSU to make fake stickers with at least 100 sheets.
The suspects AR and AM previously had witness status in the case file belonging to the MSU suspect. The police also received criminal indications that led to them from the results of the investigation of the MSU suspect.

The Mataram Police revealed that this case began with a follow-up to the report by the 2025 IndonesiaGP (ITDC-MGPA) organizing committee team which found the circulation of fake stickers on spectator vehicles.

MSU was also revealed to have launched its action since 2024. That year, he scored at least 100 stickers with all the prints sold by the two additional suspects.
