Deputy Minister Of Public Works Says They Are Calculating The Amount Of The Nataru Holiday Toll Rate Discount

JAKARTA - The provision of toll tariff discounts for the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays (Nataru 2025/2026) has not been announced until now. In fact, the Nataru holiday is less than 1.5 months away.

Regarding this, Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti said that the discounting rate was already under discussion and later the Minister of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo, would announce the amount.

"The Minister said that later there will be a discount (toll rate), but it is being calculated again (the size)," Diana said in response to VOI's question after attending the 80th Public Works Service Day (PU) series on the banks of the Ciliwung River, Jakarta, Friday, November 21.

When asked further whether the tariff discount would be given 20 percent, Diana was reluctant to answer. He said, later Minister Dody will determine the amount of the tariff discount.

"Wait for the Minister, yes, wait for the Minister. Later, the Minister (Dody Hanggodo) will determine," he added.

Previously, the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works would conduct a coordination meeting related to discounted toll rates for the Nataru 2025/2026 period.

This was conveyed by the Head of BPJT of the Ministry of Public Works, Wilan Oktavian when met at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, November 17.

"The discussion has started, yes. Tomorrow I will have a meeting with them (toll road operators)," he said.

Even though the discussion was already underway, it reportedly went well. Remember, Nataru's discount is close to the Eid holiday period. However, Wilan admitted that there had been no further discussion about it.

"We have not discussed with BUJT (Toll Road Business Agency), only tomorrow," he explained.
