Jaecoo Shows Off His Complete Ranks At GJAW 2025, The Price Of J5 EV Remains The Same

JAKARTA - Jaecool Indonesia was present at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event with various complete products, such as J7 SHS, J8 SHS including the latest model, namely J5 EV.

President Director of Chery Group Indonesia, Zeng Shuo, revealed that currently the premium brand Jaecoo has developed into a rapidly growing player.

"Today we want Jaecool J5 EV's highlight, every review and feedback will be an improvement for us," he said, during a press conference at ICE BSD, Friday, November 21.

Interestingly, in this year's exhibition event, Jaecoo announced the price for his first electric car J5 EV. The price remains the same, starting from Rp249.9 million for Standard and Premium at Rp299.9 million. And Vehicle Ordering Letter (SPK) has now reached more than 6,000 since its debut early last month.

"At this moment we want to reveal the SPK which has reached 6,000 units. We no longer present this special price at the GJAW event," said Wiliy Winawan Head of Sales Jaecool Indonesia.

Jaecool J5 EV is equipped with a 155 kW electric motor (equivalent to 210 PS) and a 288 Nm peak torque that provides instant acceleration typical of electric vehicles. The battery with a capacity of 60.9 kWh allows this car to cover a distance of up to 461 km in one charge (based on the NEDC standard).

With a fast charging capability of 130 kW, the power can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes.
