Government To Verify Mamuju Earthquake Victims To Be Able To Fund Waiting For Housing

JAKARTA - The waiting fund for housing (DTH) victims of the Mamuju earthquake in West Sulawesi Province will be distributed immediately after the data of earthquake victims is verified."

According to him, the distribution of DTH for earthquake victims will be carried out in accordance with existing rules with the amount of Rp500,000 every month for three months.

He mentioned that as many as 9,719 houses in Mamuju Regency were damaged by the earthquake consisting of 1,501 houses that were severely damaged, 3,487 moderately damaged and 4,731 with a category of minor damage spread across six sub-districts in Mamuju Regency."

But DTH will only be distributed to earthquake victims whose homes are categorized because the house can no longer be inhabited, and the DTH provided can be used to rent a place to live," he said.

He hopes that the DTH assistance that will be provided can be useful for earthquake victims.
