Menbud Appreciates Buya Hamka 3 Films, Give History Education With High Artistic Touch

JAKARTA Screening is limited to the film Awal Buya Hamka (Vol. 3) held by the Ministry of Culture at XXI Ciputra Kuningan, Wednesday, November 19. This event is part of the 2025 Santri Film Festival, as well as brings the spirit of International Islamic Day to open access to educational spectacles for students and students throughout Indonesia.

Minister of Culture Fadli Zon came directly and said that this biopic film has high artistic quality as well as is full of historical and cultural lessons. He emphasized that Buya Hamka's journey, which is depicted in films from learning discipline, relationships with teachers, to creative processes as writers and journalists, is an inspiration across generations.

He added that this film shows visual cultural expressions: customs, history, architecture, and traditional clothing. The Ministry of Culture emphasized that this event aims to strengthen the national film ecosystem by appointing Indonesian Islamic inspirational figures. This screening is also part of the Santri Film Festival to encourage santri creativity, increase visual literacy, and bridge Islamic and national values through the cinema medium.
