BNPB confirmed that residents were temporarily evacuated to evacuations prepared by a joint team of officers occupying the Oro-oro Ombo Village Hall, Penanggal Village Hall and Supiturang 2 Elementary School building in Pronojiwo.

"Temporary data as many as 300 residents are displaced. However, data collection is still being carried out by teams in the field," he said.

BNPB ensures that it will continue to monitor the development of Mount Semeru activities as well as accompany local governments in handling the impact of the disaster emergency.

Currently, the Lumajang Regency Government is preparing to determine the Emergency Response Status which will last for seven days starting from 19-26 November 2025.

"It is hoped that the command post will be activated immediately and that disaster emergency management can run effectively," said Abdul Muhari.
