Serial Accident Involves Two Buses And One Minibus In Cipali, 5 People Died

Five people reportedly died as a result of the accident of two buses and one minibus on the Cipali Kilometer 72 Toll Road or in the Bungursari area, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, early Tuesday morning.

"The accident occurred early this morning, at around 2.30 WIB," said Purwakarta Police Chief AKBP I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 18.

The accident involved three vehicles, namely the Agra Mas bus number B 7654 KGA, Sinar Jaya Bus with number B 7895 TGA and a Gran Max minibus with number B 2508 TFT.

Based on initial information, the accident occurred when the three vehicles drove from Cirebon to Jakarta.

But when passing through the scene, suddenly the Agra Mas Bus hit the Sinar Jaya Bus, which then hit the Gran Max Minibus.

Police are still investigating to find out the cause of the accident. Of course, the police have conducted a crime scene investigation and assisted in the evacuation of victims.

"So we are still investigating the cause of the accident. We have collected CCTV evidence, then conducted a crime scene investigation and examined a number of witnesses," he said.

It was reported that five people died and dozens of people were injured as a result of the accident. For the victim's data or identity, data collection is still being carried out.

The five victims who died and were injured were then taken to Abdul Radjak Purwakarta Hospital. Likewise, dozens of victims who were injured were taken to the IGD of Abdul Radjak Hospital Purwakarta.
