The Regent Explains The Need For BPR Blora Artha Transformation To Become A Perseroda
BLORA - The Government of Blora Regency, Central Java and the DPRD have agreed on two important strategies related to the financial sector in their area. The first is the change of Perumda BPR Blora Artha's legal entity to the Regional Company (Perseroda), then the discussion of the Regional Tax Raperda and Regional Retribution in 2025.
"The transformation of BPR Blora Artha into Perseroda is an obligation so that regional banks continue to meet national standards. This adjustment is in line with the development of national regulations in the financial services sector," said Blora Regent Arief Rohman quoting ANTARA, Sunday, November 16.
Since its establishment through Regional Regulation Number 16 of 2019, he said, this BPR has made a significant contribution, including dividends of more than IDR 5 billion until the 2023 Fiscal Year.
According to him, changing the legal entity to a company is a strategic step to strengthen governance, professionalism and competitiveness of BPR Blora Artha.
In addition, he said, the Regency Government and the Blora DPRD also approved the amendment to Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2023 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Retribution.

The changes were made to follow up on the evaluation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, especially regarding the adjustment of the taxless turnover limit and strengthening the regulation of retribution services.
"With the discussion of these two strategic regulations, local governments hope to strengthen economic stability, improve the quality of public services, and encourage the welfare of the people of Blora," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Blora DPRD Mustofa expressed his appreciation to the Blora Regency Government for the submission of the two agendas.
He emphasized that the change of BPR Blora Artha's legal entity to Perseroda is an important step so that regional financial institutions remain in line with national regulations, especially the 2023 P2SK Law and POJK 7/2024, which require all BPRs to adjust the nomenclature and legal entity within 2'3 years.
"This adjustment is very important so that BPR Blora Artha is more professional, transparent and strong institutionally. Moreover, BPR has donated dividends of more than IDR 5 billion for the regions," he said.
Regarding the discussion of the Regional Tax and Regional Retribution Raperda for 2025, Mustofa emphasized the DPRD's full support for local government efforts to adjust regulations in accordance with the mandate of the Financial Relations Law between the Central Government and Regional Governments (HKPD).
He emphasized that tariff determination and retribution management mechanisms must be carried out carefully, effectively, and not burden the community, so that regional income can increase sustainably.
