Marc Guehi Withdraws From The British Squad For 2026 World Cup Qualifiers
JAKARTA - The England defender, Marc Guehi, has withdrawn from the England squad for the 2026 World Cup Qualification match against Albania on Monday, November 17, 2025, early morning WIB.
The Crystal Palace centre-back missed victory over Serbia on Friday, November 14, 2025, early morning WIB, with a leg injury and will not recover for the final Group K match in Tirana.
He has returned to his club for further treatment to fit for the Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
Thomas Tuchel has yet to call a replacement, so he will go to Albania with 24 players.

"Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace has left England camp and will not leave for Albania for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers."
"The boy joined the Three Lions at the Tottenham Hotspur training ground earlier this week, but has returned to his club to resume his rehabilitation," read a statement from the English Football Association (FA).
Guehi's absence means Aston Villa defenders, Ezri Konsa, and Manchester City's John Stones can continue to build their duet.
Meanwhile, Dan Burn, Trevoh Chalobah, or Jarrell Quansah can enter if Tuchel wants to make changes.
Tuchel's side hope to close the 2026 World Cup Qualification period with a record 100 percent, after winning seven games without conceding.
Their place in the 2026 World Cup has been guaranteed and the German has only one game left to complete his plans for the tournament.
