SMF Disburses Funding To Financing Institutions Of IDR 14.53 Trillion To The Third Quarter Of 2025

PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF distributed funding to housing financing distribution agencies until the third quarter of 2025 amounting to Rp14.53 trillion through security and financing schemes.

Cumulatively, the funds that SMF distributed to the primary financing market since the company was founded until September 2025 reached IDR 135.23 trillion, consisting of IDR 14.21 trillion through securitization and IDR 121.02 trillion through financing.

"In 2024 we can reach IDR 17 trillion (defense to distribution agencies). From 2025 to September it was IDR 14.5 trillion. The hope is that by the end of this year it will reach above 2024," said SMF Director of Finance and Risk Management Bonai Subiakto quoting Antara.

Meanwhile, the total funding collected by SMF from the capital market and other funding sources reached around Rp. 10 trillion until September 2025. Cumulatively since its inception, SMF has issued debt securities 73 times with a total value of Rp74.87 trillion.

Bonai noted that the company continues to maintain the continuity of positive financial performance, by recording assets of IDR 53.66 trillion per third quarter of 2025 or growing 6.7 percent year-on-year (yoy). In the same period, liabilities were recorded at IDR 32.76 trillion and equity was IDR 20.91 trillion.

In terms of revenue, SMF received revenue of Rp2.43 trillion as of the end of September 2025. With this positive performance, the company's net profit grew 3 percent yoy to Rp432 billion.

Various financial indicators also show solid achievements, where returns on assets (ROA) are recorded at 1.07 percent, returns on equity (ROE) at the level of 2.82 percent, and profit margins reaching 17.68 percent.

The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio is at a very low level, which is 0.003 percent, reflecting the quality of the company-funded KPR portfolio.

In encouraging the program of 3 million houses, SMF actively participates in two products, namely the distribution of 25 percent of FLPP and Micro Housing KPR, which is currently called Griya Tunas.

From 2018 to the third quarter of 2025, SMF has distributed 25 percent of FLPP mortgage funding to reach Rp29.92 trillion or equivalent to 797,120 housing units.

The distribution is a product of 1.6 times that PMN received by SMF through the issuance of debt securities worth Rp. 17.94 trillion. This is in line with the mandate of SMF as a fiscal tool for the government in supporting the acceleration of the elimination of housing backlogs.

In carrying out its mandate as a fiscal tool, the government's SMF as a special mission vehicle continues to expand its initiative to strengthen access to housing financing for all levels of society.

The effort was made not only through the FLPP KPR, but also through the development of micro-housing financing products targeting non-permanent income communities or informal sector workers.

The scheme helps the community to renovate or repair housing so that it is more livable and can be used as a place of business, as well as to open access to safe and affordable financing.

On June 1, 2025, the micro housing program or Griya Tunas will be one of the achievements of the program of 3 million houses. Griya Tunas is expected to be one of the solutions for the housing feasibility backlog based on the 2024 BPS Susenas data which amounts to 25.3 million.

Meanwhile, throughout 2025, SMF together with financial institutions have distributed 36,545 houses of micro-housing financing or Griya Tunas from the government's target of 50,000 houses that have access to residential renovation financing.
