BSKJI Gandeng SSCX International To Increase The Contribution Of Industrial Services To National GDP

The Standardization Agency for Industrial Services Policy (BSKJI) of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is expanding collaboration with various stakeholders to strengthen the role of the industrial services sector in the national economy.

In order to accelerate the role of the industrial services sector, BSKJI collaborated with PT SSCX International, consulting companies have more than two decades of experience in operational excellence and productivity improvement.

The collaboration aims to introduce an industrial service development program, grow its ecosystem and encourage increased contribution from the industrial services sector to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

"Industrial service development programs cannot be separated from the participation of all stakeholders, ranging from ministries/agencies, local governments, associations to industry service business actors," said Head of BSKJI Emmy Suryandari at the 2025 Indonesian Industrial Services Award (IdSAs) event held in the Operational Excellence Conference OPEXCON 2025 series in Jakarta, Thursday, November 13.

Throughout 2025, BSKJI has carried out various strategic activities, such as the preparation of regulations and NSPK for industrial services, data development and calculation of GDP for industrial services, facilitation and assistance of industrial services to the implementation of the Indonesia Industrial Services Awards (IdSAs), as well as collaboration with PT SSCX International.

According to Emmy, this collaboration is a strategic step in strengthening the position of industrial services as a driving force for national productivity.

"The highest appreciation is given to the recipients of the OPEXCON and IdSAs awards in 2025. Hopefully it can be a trigger for the company to increase its competitiveness," he said.

The expansion of collaboration between BSKJI and PT SSCX International was marked by the holding of the Operational Excellence Conference (OPEXCON) and the Indonesia Industrial Services Awards (IdSAs) 2025.

In that event, the two parties collaborated from workshops, judging to award awarding which included seminars, sharing experience, project demonstrations, exhibitions and operational excellence consulting.

With this strategic collaboration, BSKJI and SSCX International hope to build a strong foundation for the growth of high competitive industrial services, adaptive to technology, and contribute significantly to Indonesia's economic growth.

The Ministry of Industry's BSKJI has compiled a Roadmap for Industrial Services Development for 2025-2045 to provide guidelines for policy making and implementation of industrial service development.

Roadmap is divided into four stages, namely phase I 2025-2029 related to the development of a healthy industrial service ecosystem, phase II 2030-2034 regarding increasing the competitiveness of the industrial services sector, stage III 2035-2039 related to increasing access to the industrial services sector to the global supply chain and stage IV 2040-2045 related to the realization of the competitive industrial services sector, resilience, based on technology and innovation and being able to become a regional champion.
