Foreign Minister Lavrov Calls Europe Openly Prepares New War, But Ready To Establish Contacts

JAKARTA - Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Europe was openly preparing for a new war, but on the other hand it was ready to establish contact after " Russophobia's craze" ended.

Speaking in an interview, Foreign Minister Lavrov said European countries sabotaged peacekeeping efforts and publicly prepared for a new major war against Russia.

"(The European capital) sabotaged any peacekeeping efforts, rejecting direct contact with Moscow. They continue to impose new 'sanctions' that have had a negative impact on their own economy. They are publicly preparing for a new major war in Europe against Russia. They persuaded Washington to reject a just and honest diplomatic settlement," he said in an interview with Corriere della Sera Italia, which declined to publish it. , as quoted from TASS, which has exclusive rights to quote Lavrov's answer November 13.

According to the top Russian diplomat, most of the European capital is the backbone of the so-called voluntary coalition, which only wants one thing, continuing hostilities in Ukraine as long as possible, "until Ukraine is last."

"As a result, they have no other way to distract voters from the increasingly severe domestic socio-economic problems," said Foreign Minister Lavrov.

"They used the money of European taxpayers to sponsor the terrorist regime in Kiev, supplying it with weapons used to kill civilians in Russian territory and Ukrainians who want to escape the war and Nazi graduates," he said.

On the other hand, Foreign Minister Lavrov said Russia would be open to establishing contact with Europe after going through its " Russophobic craze".

"When this Russophobic craze - I can't find other words for it - passes, we will be open to contact, to hear how our former partner will communicate with us in the future. And then, we will decide whether there is any prospect for an honest relationship," he said.

According to Foreign Minister Lavrov, the current confrontation stemming from a rash and deadlocked European elite policy is not Russia's choice.

"The current situation is not in favor of our people. I hope that European governments, most of whom are implementing panic anti-Russian policies, understand the dangers of such harmful actions," he said.
