BP Tapera Prepares Scheme For ASN Who Want To Own A Home In An Easy Way
JAKARTA - The People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) together with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk and Perum Perumnas collaborated to make it easier for people to own a home with various benefits and conveniences from tapera's Home Ownership Credit (KPR) facility.
BP Tapera Commissioner Adi Setianto in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday said BP Tapera together with Bank BTN and Perumnas will soon realize the Initiation Project for The Distribution of Public Housing Savings Financing.
"In this Initiation Project, we target there will be 11,000 housing units financed through Kpr Tapera. For the first phase, the initiation project will be intended for the initial participants of BP Tapera, namely the ASN," said Adi on the sidelines of the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between BP Tapera, Bank BTN, and Perum Perumnas on the Initiation Project for The Distribution of Public Housing Savings Financing, in Jakarta, Thursday, May 20, quoted from ANTARA.
President Director of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Haru Koesmahargyo appreciated BP Tapera's initiative in cooperating with state-owned companies focused on the housing sector to realize the big dream of meeting the needs of Indonesian people's homes.
"We are committed to continue helping BP Tapera to realize the dream of Indonesian people to have a livable home. In addition to the distribution of Kpr Tapera, Bank BTN is ready to innovate to continue collaborating with BP Tapera to accelerate the ownership of dream homes for Indonesians," said Haru.
Haru explained that KPR Tapera offers three financing schemes according to the income group. For income group I with income below Rp4 million will get a mortgage rate of 5 percent fixed interest or fixed rate with a tenor of up to 30 years.
In income group II with income ranging from Rp4 million-Rp6 million is subject to mortgage interest of 6 percent fixed rate with a tenor of up to 20 years. Then, for income group III with income of Rp6 million-Rp8 million can access mortgages with an interest rate of 7 percent fixed rate with a tenor of up to 20 years.
Meanwhile, to be able to access Kpr Tapera, the community is required to meet the provisions and requirements to obtain Tapera financing such as participants entering into the low-income community (MBR), not yet owning a home and becoming active Tapera participants and smoothly paying the participants' deposits for 12 months. The price of houses that can be owned by tapera active participants varies from Rp112 million to Rp292 million.
Perumnas supports the synergy of BP Tapera and BTN so that the need for housing can be immediately absorbed by the community. President Director of Perum Perumnas Budi Saddewa Soediro said the initiation was in line with Perumnas' mission in providing housing for the lower middle segment.
"It is evident that the target of subsidized housing construction throughout 2021 increases to about 30 percent of the total residential units built. This indicates that Perumnas is getting serious about working on the lower middle segment that we previously targeted around 20 percent for this subsidized residential unit. And this is, not only on the type of tread houses, but also on the type of flats," said Budi.
