Continuing To Advance, Russian Troops Attack Settlements In Zaporizhia
JAKARTA - Russian troops stormed three settlements in Ukraine's southern Zaporizhia region. Moscow forces are currently expanding their efforts to capture more Ukrainian territory.
The thick fog allows Russian troops to infiltrate Ukraine's position in Zaporizhia, wrote General Oleksandr Syrskyi on the Telegram messaging app reported by AP, Wednesday, November 12. According to him, Ukrainian units were locked in a "satire battle" to fend off Russian attacks.
However, he said the fiercest fighting still occurred in the trapped city of Pokrovsk, Ukraine, in the eastern Donetsk region, where nearly half of the entire frontline clashes have occurred in the past 24 hours.
The cities of Kupiansk and Lyman in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region have also recently seen an increase in fighting.
