Having An Affair With Policewomen, Blitar City DPRD Persons Become Suspects

The case of the alleged affair between members of the Blitar City DPRD and a Blitar Policewoman is now entering a new chapter. The Batu Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) officially named a member of the council with the initials GP as a suspect. He is suspected of being involved in a illicit relationship with Bripka SNR, an active police officer.

Kasatreskrim Polres Batu, Iptu Joko Suprianto said, the determination of the suspect's status was carried out after investigators found two valid pieces of evidence as regulated in the criminal procedural law.

"After further investigation of the case until examination, investigators have raised their status as suspects," Joko told reporters at the Batu Police Headquarters, Tuesday, November 11.

According to Joko, the evidence pocketed by investigators was strong enough to ensnare the GP in the alleged case of adultery with Bripka SNR. A number of evidences were secured, including sheets, used tissue, and hotel CCTV footage. All of these evidences have now been sent to a forensic laboratory (labfor) for further examination.

Two pieces of evidence have been fulfilled. Currently, the case file is still in the process of being completed for the next stage," he explained.

Previously, investigators had named Bripka SNR as the first suspect in this case. He was charged with Article 284 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) concerning adultery with a penalty of 9 months in prison.

This case began on Friday (17/10/2025) when SNR's husband, who is also a member of the police, began to suspect his wife's movements. He saw his wife leaving the house in Blitar using a Toyota Innova driven by a driver.

Feeling that something was wrong, her husband then followed the car until it stopped at a four-star hotel in the Ngaglik area, Batu District, Batu City.

This suspicion became stronger after the husband confirmed his wife's whereabouts in the hotel room. He then reported the incident to the Batu Police Satreskrim which immediately moved to carry out the raid on Saturday (18/10/2025) in the morning, at around 04.00 WIB.

During the raid, Bripka SNR was found alone in the hotel room, while the GP was suspected of having left the location moments before.

Now, the Batu Police investigators are completing the case files for the two suspects, GP and Bripka SNR to be immediately transferred to the prosecutor's office. This case of infidelity is in the public spotlight because it involves local officials and police officers.
