Jaecoo Starts Sending J5 EVs To Consumers Simultaneously Through 17 Dealer Networks

JAKARTA - Jaecool Indonesia has started sending J5 EVs to consumers throughout Indonesia. This activity is carried out simultaneously through 17 official dealer networks spread across various big cities.

Marking the company's important steps in strengthening its presence in the national electric vehicle market. This unit handover is carried out for consumers who have made bookings since the GIIAS 2025 event, as well as for consumers who ordered after the announcement of the official price in early November.

The high enthusiasm of consumers reflects the market's positive response to Jaecoo's first electric SUV in Indonesia, known for its tough character and distinctive modern design The Real SUV.

Jaecool Indonesia Country Director Max Zhou, revealed that this momentum is an important milestone for the company, because Jaecool J5 EV is not just the first product in the electrification segment, but also a symbol of commitment to delivering a strong, efficient, and electric SUV that is in line with Indonesian consumer needs.

As Jaecoo's first electric SUV in Indonesia, Jaecool J5 EV carries a combination of classic SUV designs and modern touch that emphasizes strong and elegant characters. The exterior design features firm and proportional, combined with dynamic lines and a high posture with a 200mm ground clearance that emphasizes the true SUV character for various terrains.

The interior is designed with a spacious and ergonomic cabin, using premium materials and 35 storage space that maximizes the daily function of drivers and passengers.

In terms of performance, JAECOO J5 EV is powered by an electric motor of 155 kW (equivalent to 208 hp) with a torque of 288 Nm, combined with an efficient front wheel drive system. This car is capable of traveling a distance of up to 461 km (based on the NEDC standard) in one full charge.

Jaecool J5 EV comes in two variant options, Standard IDR 249.9 million, and Premium IDR 299.9 million OTR Jakarta.
