Governor Akmil Determined To Bring Soldiers Ready For The Age Of Robotics And "AI"
JAKARTA - The Governor of the Military Academy Brig. Gen. Candra Wijaya is determined to bring army soldiers to be ready for the age of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).
Brig. Gen. Candra Wijaya said he was determined to prepare army personnel who are ready to serve for the next 30 or 35 years.
"We know the future is very full of technology, automation, robotics, then artificial intelligence, so for us how to prepare cadets early to be able to mann the army in that period," he was quoted as saying by Antara, Friday, May 21.
The Military Academy said he would prepare army personnel who are strong competitive to make a strong leader in the future.
Previously, Army Chief of Staff General Andika Perkasa led the handover of the positions of High Officers of the Army.
The handover of this position also contained various names of high-ranking officers, one of whom was Brig. Gen. Candra Wijaya who gained a new position as Governor of the Military Academy.
Previously the position of Governor of the Military Academy was entrusted to Maj. Gen. TNI Totok Imam, and currently Totok Imam is believed to be Danpussenarmed Kodiklatad.
Brig. Gen. Candra Wijaya himself was previously believed to be Kasdam IX / Udayana. The rotation that occurs in high-ranking army officers, one of which is the Governor of the Military Academy is expected to bring progress in adaptive military resources and tough leaders in the future.
