Korea Masters 2025: 5 Indonesian Representatives To The Second Round
JAKARTA Indonesia managed to place five representatives in the second round of the Korea Masters 2025. This number is half of the total representatives who have participated in this tournament.
The Super 300 BWF level event completed a series of first-half matches on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Indonesia also successfully added three tickets to the second half.
All three tickets were obtained singles, namely men's singles Yohanes Saut Marcellyno and Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah and women's singles Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi.
Saut secured a ticket to the second half after beating Riki Takei from Japan in three games 21-16, 11-21, and 21-13. This is his third win in the tournament, including two in the qualifying round.

In the second round, Saut will face a tough test because he will face the first seed from Singapore, namely Jia Heng Jason Teh.
Meanwhile, Ubaidillah qualified for the second half after beating Huang Ping-Hsien from China Taipei 21-11 and 21-16. He will then meet Viren Nettasisnghe from Sri Lanka who eliminated Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo.
Furthermore, Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi as the only women's singles in this tournament, maintains Indonesia's hopes by defeating third seed Sung Shuo Yun from China Taipei in rubber games 17-21, 21-10, and 21-19.
The other two Indonesian tickets belonged to the men's doubles Muhammad Putra Erwitsyah/Daniel Edgar chanceo and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, who had already played first on the first day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
The two pairs immediately faced each other in the second half. Thus, Indonesia is certain to have one ticket to the quarter-finals.
Apart from Chico, representatives of Indonesia who failed to enter the second round were Isyana Syahira Meida/Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine, Siti Sarah Azzahra/Az Zahra Ditya Ramadhani, Agnia Sri Rahayu/Veisha Christina, and Marwan Faza/Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata.
