Riau Governor Abdul Wahid In Orange Vest After Being Caught OTT KPK
Riau Governor Abdul Wahid first appeared wearing an orange vest after being caught in a sting operation (OTT) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Monday, November 3.
From observations at the location, Abdul Wahid arrived at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta today, November 5 at around 13:46 WIB. He appeared to be wearing a KPK prisoner vest numbered 94 and his hands were handcuffed.
There was no statement made by the regional head of the National Awakening Party (PKB). He just chose to smile and wave.
Meanwhile, Abdul Wahid was reported to have been taken to the KPK detention center on Tuesday night, November 4 after undergoing an examination. However, there is no official information from the anti-corruption commission.
Previously reported, the KPK held a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Riau Province on Monday, November 3. There were 10 people who were arrested at that time and there was Rp1.6 billion in cash in rupiah denominations, US dollars to Poundsterling.
Later, nine people were taken by the KPK to undergo examination. Meanwhile, one person surrendered after a search was carried out by a team in the field.
