Chivu Banks Assumptions Inter Milan Are Lucky In The Champions League

JAKARTA - Inter Milan will face Kairat in the fourth match of the 2025/2026 Champions League group phase, at Giuseppe Meazza on Thursday, November 6, 2025, early morning WIB.

The Nerazzurri are one of three teams that still have a perfect record. The other two are Bayern Munich and Arsenal who have finished their fourth match on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Inter Milan are now in fourth place in the standings with nine points from three matches. They have a great chance of continuing the winning trend, such as Bayern Munich and Arsenal, when they hosted the Kazakhstan club.

However, Inter Milan's positive achievement in the Champions League was driven by a donation. Unlike Arsenal and Bayern Munich, the Nerazzurri have achieved the perfect results so far with luck.

The Champions League runners-up last season played three games against easy opponents, namely Ajax, Slavia Prague, and Union Saint-Gilicoise.

Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu was furious. He dismissed the notion that his team's strong start to the tournament was caused by a series of profitable matches.

"I don't care what other people say or write. I know tomorrow we'll be playing a crucial and far from easy game."

He promised to field the best squad, including captain Lautaro Martinez who has scored in the last three games since scoring in a 4-0 win over Belgian club Union Saint-Glimoise, on October 21, 2025.

"People try to make excuses that don't really exist. Even when he doesn't score, he contributes very much."
