JAKARTA - Police say two of the dozens of perpetrators of the burning of Candipuro Police Station, South Lampung, are fugitives in the case of fornication. They've been fugitives since early 2021.

"Yes, there are two (perpetrators of arson, red) who are DPO," said Head of Public Relations of Lampung Police, Kombes Zahwani Pandra Arsyad told VOI, Friday, May 21

The two men, pandra continued, were the perpetrators of the burning of Candipuro Police who were arrested in the second series. They were arrested along with four others.

Previously reported, police arrested six people related to the burning of Candipuro Police Station, Lampung. In total, a total of 14 perpetrators have been secured.

"Until now, South Lampung Police has arrested and secured 14 people suspected of involvement," Head of Public Relations Division of Kombes Police Ahmad Ramadhan told reporters on Thursday, May 20.

From the results of the interim examination, they have different roles. Some of them were provocateurs and the rest were only involved in arson.

"Starting from initiating actions, provocateurs and perpetrators of vandalism and arson to citizens who participated in arson and vandalism activities in Candipuro Police Station," ramadhan said.

Candipuro police were burned down by a mob on Tuesday, May 18, the night. Based on the information, the mob threw into the area of the integrated police service center (SPKT) Polsek. So it sparked a fire.
