69-Year-Old Grandmother Snatched To Fall In Malaysia, 3 Perpetrators Arrested Positive For Methamphetamine

JAKARTA - Malaysian police arrested three men suspected of robbery cases against a 69-year-old grandmother in Nilam Puri.

Citing Bernama, the police revealed on Tuesday, November 4 that the three of them tested positive for methamphetamine after undergoing tests.

The robbery took place on November 1 morning when the victim had just finished buying fish and was waiting for the red light to cross the road.

Two men riding a Honda EX5 motorbike suddenly approached the victim. The perpetrator who was riding down from the motorbike and snatched the bag containing RM50 belonging to the grandmother.

As a result of the forced seizure of the bag, the grandmother fell to the side of the road.

Based on the development of the arrests of the two perpetrators, the police on November 3 arrested another suspect who owned the motorbike used in the theft.

The Honda EX5 motorcycle used in the incident has been confiscated by the police.

The three suspects were detained for seven days starting today, for questioning in the process of investigating this case based on Article 394 of the Criminal Code.
