Vivo Y500 Pro Ready To Launch November 10, Carry Camera 200MP And Battery 7,000mAh

After teasing the market through a teaser last month, Vivo finally confirmed the launch date of the Vivo Y500 Pro in China, namely on November 10, 2025. This smartphone is predicted to be the most powerful member of the Y series so far, with a 200MP flagship camera and a 7,000mAh jumbo battery.

In terms of performance, devices with model numbers V2516A have appeared on the Geekbench site, displaying details of specifications that strengthen its position as a quasi-flagship. The Geekbench test shows that this phone is equipped with a chipset with a configuration of eight cores four cores of 2.0GHz and four others at 2.6GHz as well as a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. This combination confirms that the Dimensity 7400 made by MediaTek is the main brain of the Y500 Pro.

From the same test, it is known that this phone will have 12GB RAM and run with Android 16 which is coated with the OriginOS 6. Interestingly, Vivo calls the Y500 Pro the first non-flagship phone to run OriginOS 6 innate.

The official poster released by the company also shows off its design and key specifications. The 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution is the main face of this device, complete with a high refresh rate for a smooth visual experience. In the photography sector, Vivo submerged a 200MP Samsung HP5 camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a sensor commonly encountered in flagship lines.

It doesn't stop there, the durability is supported by a 7,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, Vivo claims it can fully fill in a short time. The company also said the Y500 Pro was able to run the MOBA game in HD 120fps mode, affirming the focus of performance and efficiency of Dimensity 7400.

In terms of design, the body is coated with anti-glare glass with a satin texture that gives a premium impression, and has IP68/69 certification for dust and water resistance.

With a combination of high-end cameras, large batteries, high gaming performance, and premium builds, the Vivo Y500 Pro appears ready to challenge the boundary between the medium segment and flagship.

The official launch in China is just a matter of days, and the global market, especially Southeast Asia, is waiting to see if Vivo will take the Y500 Pro out of its home country. If so, this could be one of the hidden gems' in the smartphone market at the end of 2025
