Vietnam Flood Death Toll Increases To 42 People
JAKARTA - The death toll from heavy rains that flushed Vietnam was increasing to 42 people, following the new floods that hit Hue City.
Previously, Vietnamese media said 37 people died as a result of the floods that hit the country.
Reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 3, it was reported that more than 400 residents in Hue City had been evacuated, while rivers in Danang City overflowed onto the road. At the same time, 42 people were killed or still missing.
Vietnam's meteorological agency warned of the potential for rain that will flush a number of areas in the next few days.
